The only reason for this 24Hr watch is I like them. Not too many out there. I have a couple and I just wanted to make sure Sheffield had one in the books. Lucky for me there was a very cool Sheffield dial design from the 60's. It's original, it's unique and it's a fun way to tell time.

Specifications

The Sheffield 24Hr watch is designed for those who appreciate the distinctiveness of military time, where 1:00 pm is read as "thirteen hundred hours." This unique watch features a single 24-hour sweep, unlike traditional watches that have two full dial revolutions. Inspired by a classic 60's design, the Sheffield 24Hr is a standout addition to any collection.

The watch looks great. The build quality is very high. I just love the way it looks.

I love this watch. It’s slightly bigger than what I would usually buy, but the lug to lug is short enough that it wears great. It’s an attention getter and has quickly become my most worn watch.

Sheffield 24Hr — The 24-Hour Watch That Actually Fits Real Life

The appeal of a 24-hour watch is simple: it reframes time the way the world actually works. One complete rotation equals one full day. You stop “translating” AM/PM, you read the day as a continuous cycle, and the result is oddly calming—especially for travelers, operators, and anyone who works across time zones.

The Sheffield 24Hr delivers that concept with a level of practicality and daily comfort that many better-known 24-hour pieces miss. It does not try to be a museum piece or a pilot’s cockpit instrument; it tries to be a watch you genuinely wear. And it succeeds.

Legibility: Better Than the Category Standard

Many 24-hour watches are ideologically correct but visually busy. Sheffield gets the fundamentals right: the dial is organized, the information hierarchy is clear, and the 24-hour scale is readable at a glance. In daily use, this matters more than brand cachet. You do not want a “cool idea” that requires a second look every time you check it.

Wearability: Where Sheffield Outperforms the Big Names

This is where the Sheffield 24Hr sets itself apart. Many 24-hour watches—especially aviation-inspired models—wear large, tall, and purpose-built. They can feel like equipment. Sheffield, by contrast, feels like a well-proportioned everyday watch that happens to display time in a 24-hour format. That makes it easier to wear for long stretches, easier to pair with business attire, and more likely to become part of your routine rather than a novelty in rotation.

Versatility: The Quiet Advantage

A good 24-hour watch should work in three contexts: travel, work, and the weekend. Sheffield’s design language is clean enough for a professional setting, yet distinctive enough to feel interesting when you’re dressed down. It avoids the “overly tactical” trap that can make some 24-hour pieces feel one-dimensional. The Sheffield 24Hr is the rare watch that makes the 24-hour concept feel natural, not niche. It delivers the philosophical satisfaction of true 24-hour timekeeping, but wraps it in a package that is comfortable, legible, and versatile—attributes that matter more than logos once you actually live with a watch.

If the Breitling 24 is the charismatic showpiece of the category, the Sheffield 24Hr is the smart daily driver: less about proving a point, and more about making the format genuinely enjoyable to wear.

Incredible! As a watch collector, having models from Hamilton, Seiko, Orient, Bulova, Marathon, and Citizen, this is one of my favorites. Will definitely be back for other models!

Its a visually attractive timepiece, I've had many compliments to date. It is comfortable to wear and a great size and weight. My only issue is the stem; it feels a bit flinsy. Screwng it down almost feels like it is going to come loose or break. Its not terrible, it just feels less sturdy than my other watches. Overall a great value, I'm pleased to own it.

Great quality watch, a little quirky with the 24 hour dial - but that is the appeal. Recommend as delivery was very efficient.

I loved the story and styling of this watch. I don‘t know or many people who have a 24 hour dial and I like that it is a faithful reproduction of the original. I do wish I could see the movement but that is personal preference.

Love the watch. Unique design and great quality and construction. I don't think you'll find a better watch at this price point.
