The Sheffield QL1 was an experiment and a challenge. How much meaningful specification could be built into a reliable, unique and special watch that represents the Sheffield value ethos.

There were two things it had to have: A reliable Miyota Quartz 2035 movement, and at least 5 ATM (150 feet) so you could shower or jump in the pool and not worry about it.

The rest of the specifications are solid: Alloy case, hardened mineral glass, lumed hands, and a rugged nylon strap that is easy to interchange.

The unique features of these colorful timepieces, inspired by the bright Porsche colors of the 60's and 70's, is the pilot-style tilted dial and crown position. The Orange QL1 delivers bold energy and standout character, bringing one of the most vibrant colorways in the collection to Sheffield's distinctive design.

Specifications

The rest of the specifications are solid: an alloy case, hardened mineral glass crystal, lumed hands, and a rugged nylon strap that is easy to interchange.

The standard one-year warranty applies to these watches and covers manufacturing defects. The hardened mineral glass crystal and alloy case may show signs of wear, scratches, or patina through normal use, which are considered part of ownership and are not covered under warranty. Likewise, while the QL1 is rated to 5 ATM water resistance and is suitable for everyday water exposure such as hand washing, showers, and brief immersion, prolonged underwater use is not recommended and is not covered under warranty.

The QL1 is a happy little watch. The colors are great, especially with the way the case and strap match perfectly. It was also good for driving. But to call this watch a “sportlume” is kind of ridiculous. As I recorded in my video review, the fully-charged lume lasted a total of 1 minute and 18 seconds. One other thing: the numbers on the dial are not visible enough and practically blend with the dial. There needs to be more definition and contrast.

Bought the watch for my son and he loves it! The vibrant orange dial with the cool offset 12 is fun and easy to read at a glance. Lightweight, comfortable, and keeps perfect time. Great value — he wears it every day! Highly recommend.

I ordered three QL1s in different colours and in real life they are just as bright and vibrant as I was hoping. The size is great and they are comfortable to wear: not heavy or bulky on the wrist. I love them! Sam and Jay were very helpful with questions related to the delivery.

LOVE this watch. LOTS of compliments on it. Love the offset dial when on road trips. The watch really stands out and the band is really comfortable. Great size..
